Sales Development Manager

As a Sales Development Manager at White Cap, you will be responsible for building relationships and developing plans to increase sales and profitability for medium to large customers. Your primary goal will be to drive sales by creating, executing, and communicating business plans to grow revenue and gross margin dollars.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct on-site customer visits with new and existing customers to manage sales volume and expand the customer base.
- Develop and execute profitable business plans for managing accounts, working closely with sales and corporate personnel to communicate account plans, pricing, and offer assistance to drive sales.
- Provide market and competitor information to the appropriate channel within the company and maintain a current and competent base of product knowledge to apply when servicing customers.
- Regularly attend company meetings and maintain and submit all required sales administration reports.
- Build and maintain customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certification in sales and account management is a plus.
- Knowledge of Miller Heiman's Strategic Selling and Large Account Management Process concepts.
- Prior experience in telesales and possession of proven phone sales skills.
- Knowledge of the company product line.
This role requires occasional overnight travel and regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.
Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment that may be heavy (50+ pounds) or awkward.
