Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic events catering business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of our food buses at events, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with event organizers, and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Operations: Oversee the operation of our food buses, ensuring everything from inventory to team management is on point.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, placing orders as needed to keep us fully stocked and ready to serve.
- Logistics: Organize logistics related to vehicle movement for events, making sure we're in the right place at the right time.
- Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the team, including cooks, servers, and other employees, providing leadership and support.
- Customer Service: Handle customer requests and complaints with professionalism and a customer-first approach.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Act 1974 and Food Safety and Hygiene Regulations 2013, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence: Essential, with a Category C Licence a bonus.
- Catering and hospitality experience: Required, with proficiency in POS systems and computer knowledge.
- Culinary skills: Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and experience in cash handling and sales.
- Food safety standards: Solid knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
- Flexibility: Ability to work days, evenings, nights, and overnight stays during events.
