Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Luton Bennett. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of high-quality electronic components.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement work instructions through our company's MES system.
  2. Produce accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs) from customer documentation to enable timely and accurate materials and assembly costings.
  3. Design and implement processes and techniques to improve production efficiency and turnaround times.
  4. Provide exceptional customer support on returns, producing documentation for repairs and tracking progress.
  5. Liaise with other departments to meet bespoke customer requirements.
  6. Implement and maintain Continuous Improvement (CI) programs.
  7. Minimize waste in engineering and production.

Requirements:

  1. Thorough understanding of manufacturing environments and processes.
  2. Previous knowledge or experience with electronic components is required.
  3. IT literacy and experience with ERP systems and databases.
