Logistics and Inventory Management Specialist

We are seeking a Logistics and Inventory Management Specialist to join our team in London or Manchester. As a specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on complex logistics and inventory management projects, develop improvement initiatives, and stay up-to-date with the latest SAP innovations and extensions.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient logistics and inventory management processes for clients across various industries. You will also drive pre-sales cycles to win future logistics and inventory management engagements and support business development and sales initiatives.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex engagements across multiple sectors, including FMCG, Industrial Manufacturing, Defence, IGH, and more. You will have the chance to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, develop improvement initiatives, and stay up-to-date with the latest SAP innovations and extensions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient logistics and inventory management processes for clients
  • Drive pre-sales cycles to win future logistics and inventory management engagements
  • Support business development and sales initiatives
  • Develop improvement initiatives and stay up-to-date with SAP innovations and extensions

Requirements:

  • Strong functional understanding of logistics and inventory management processes and how they integrate with other business functions
  • Advise on technical integrations of SAP applications with other client and 3rd party tools/applications in the logistics and inventory management process area
  • SAP system design, build, and deployment experience - 4 full lifecycle implementations preferred
  • Experience of facilitating a design workshop and then translating the requirements into design
  • Experience of managing small teams, coaching, and mentoring junior staff
  • Undergraduate/postgraduate degree
  • SAP certification preferred in the appropriate domain

The salary for this role is £85,000-£105,000 per year, depending on experience.
