HCRG Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced General Practitioner to provide primary healthcare services to military personnel at various locations throughout the UK.
Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic healthcare professional to join our team as a General Practitioner with MOD experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality primary healthcare services to military personnel, including examinations, occupational health assessments, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake primary healthcare clinics for military personnel
- Examinations and occupational health fitness for work assessments
- Inform the local medical authority of any cases that may affect a Service Person's ability to undertake their duties
- Complete reports and documentation in accordance with MOD policy
- Attend individual management reviews or case conferences as required
- Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) on the main register and GP Register without Restrictions
- Current, satisfactory annual appraisal in line with GMC's Good Medical Practice (GMP)
- Previous Ministry of Defence (MOD) experience
- Satisfactory Safeguarding Children and Young People and Safeguarding Adults training
- Previous emergency care/response experience
- Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) and/or Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (DFSRH) and/or Diploma Occupational Medicine (DipOM)
