The General Dental Council is seeking a Senior Operations Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Register Maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our dental professionals registers.

You will work closely with our Fitness to Practise department to ensure compliance with our legislation and maintain a concise and correct register for the industry and public alike.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day processes, including updating records, registrant online systems, and business name enquiries.
  • Specialize in major projects annually that determine a registrant's eligibility to maintain their registration.
  • Collaborate with the Fitness to Practise department to apply our legislation correctly.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience of working in an information collection department or a similar environment.
  • Previous project experience and ability to successfully deliver operational programmes of work.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of a regulatory function.
  • Strong communication skills, including written and spoken English, and ability to build relationships and network internally and externally.
