Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Psychology Graduate

EdEx Education Recruitment is seeking a confident and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our client's supportive and successful team in Wandsworth.

Job Summary:

  • Provide targeted support to pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, Global Delay, and Down Syndrome.
  • Assist with the management of the class, carry out interventions, and deliver programs tailored to children's needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the inclusion team to support pupils and staff.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychology Graduate to gain experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for all pupils to flourish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 with SEN and behavioral requirements.
  • Use creativity and imagination to engage pupils and promote learning.
  • Develop strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a SEN setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for supporting those with Special Educational Needs.
