Geography Teacher Wanted

We are seeking a qualified Geography Teacher to join our team at a large Secondary Academy in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Geography to students in Years 7-11, with a focus on delivering engaging and effective lessons that promote excellent results.

About the Role

This is a permanent position, with a 3-month probation period. The successful candidate will be expected to plan, mark, and deliver Geography lessons to their timetabled group of KS3 and KS4 classes, with PPA time included. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of the GCSE Geography curriculum and be able to plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons.

Requirements
  • QTS or PGCE Geography Qualification
  • Geography Teacher with at least 1 year's experience teaching up to KS4
  • Highly knowledgeable in GCSE Geography curriculum
  • Passionate about teaching Geography and promoting learning in Geography for excellent results
  • Good or Outstanding classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
