">About the Role:
">We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Third in Charge to join our team at Bright Horizons First Class Day Nursery and Preschool in Aberdeen. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring our team to deliver outstanding care and education to all children in our care.
">Salary and Benefits:
">The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of £28,894-£31,000 per annum, depending on qualification and experience. In addition to a generous salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including discounted childcare, up to 33 days holiday per year, Smart Health access, and a wide range of employee discounts.
">Job Description:
">Key responsibilities include:
">- ">
- Acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead at the nursery, ensuring the day-to-day running of the nursery and management of safeguarding and child protection policies.">
- Developing and maintaining strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to meet the needs of each child.">
- Promoting the nursery to both current parents and potential customers to support retention and occupancy growth.">
- Ensuring commercial success by maintaining expenditure inline with FTEs and budget KPIs.">
- Engaging with the Local Authority to understand the local offer and support practice in all areas of the nursery.">

Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">- ">
- A full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.">
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally as a Third in Charge, Room Leader, or Early Years Educator.">
- Confident decision-making skills, with previous experience providing support and leadership to others.">
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children.">
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.">
