Job Title: Driver - NHS

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Driver/Equipment Technician to join our team in Bishop's Stortford, Essex. The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week, delivering prompt and efficient delivery, monitoring, servicing, and collection of items of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and collect equipment, accurately accounting for stock received, issued, stored, returned, and condemned.
  • Clean, inspect, service, and maintain equipment to the highest standards.
  • Ensure compliance with administrative and legislative policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Handle, move, and store equipment safely, adhering to Trust Manual Handling Policy and Health & Safety Legislation.
  • Operate Aqua-phase and small tools or equipment after training.
  • Record stock deliveries, equipment returns, condemnation, and stock take sheets/notes.
  • Undertake picking, loading, and unloading of vehicles.
  • Comply with fire, security, health, and safety legislation/procedures.
  • Drive a transit delivery van, perform daily van checks, and maintain a clean vehicle.
  • Provide courteous, professional, and friendly service to service users, carers, and professionals.
