Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

New Resource Group is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join their team in Kirkby in Ashfield. As a key member of the manufacturing team, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive mechanical and tooling service to ensure optimal asset integrity and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement the latest maintenance techniques to ensure 98% availability of manufacturing equipment.
  • Deliver machine performance improvement projects, including design changes to eliminate repetitive faults.
  • Collaborate with Development Engineers and other team members on project teams to drive improvements in machine performance.
  • Implement technical improvements to enhance machine performance and reliability.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing maintenance activity, preferably in a packaging products environment.
  • Experience with injection moulding technology (essential) and blow moulding technology (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of engineering standards and best practices.
  • IT literate with proficiency in MS Office and CAD systems.
  • Commercial awareness with a focus on continuous improvement.
