Job Opportunity: History Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic History Teacher to join our team at Wayman Education. As a History Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching History to students in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach History to students in a way that promotes academic excellence and personal growth
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve student outcomes
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture

Requirements:

  • Formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
  • Excellent subject knowledge and teaching skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Legal ability to work within the UK
