About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaner in Charge to join our team at Derby City Council. As a key member of our hygiene team, you will be responsible for supervising and training staff, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our school premises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train members of the hygiene team to ensure effective cleaning operations
  • Undertake cleaning of designated areas within the school premises, adhering to the School Cleaning Specification
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the cleaning service, including online cleaning logs
  • Collaborate with the Site Manager and School Operations Manager to ensure seamless delivery of cleaning services
