Job Title: Principal Building Control Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Control Inspector to join our team at Adur District and Worthing Borough Councils.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and rapidly developing area, with a focus on ensuring compliance with building regulations and promoting high-quality construction.

As a Principal Building Control Inspector, you will be responsible for leading an area team of surveyors, assisting the Building Control Manager, and performing site inspections, among other duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead an area team of surveyors and assist the Building Control Manager
  • Perform site inspections and ensure compliance with building regulations
  • Maintain the council's quality management system
  • Deal with dangerous structures and demolitions
