An exciting chance has arisen for a motivated and ambitious individual to join Magnus James, a specialist recruiter for the property industry, as a Trainee Lettings Negotiator within their Chester office.
The successful candidate will ideally possess experience within a customer service, sales, or hospitality role, with a natural flair for working with a highly experienced team. A stable CV and genuine desire to work in the property industry are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with the lettings team to achieve targets, ensuring all tenancies are compliant with legal documentation.
- Contribute to building the brand in the local marketplace.
- Handle telephone and face-to-face enquiries, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Carry out viewings and obtain feedback.
- Negotiate new tenancies with landlords and tenants.
- Prepare tenancy agreements, issue legal documents, and ensure safety certificates are in place prior to move-in.
- Work with the property management team to ensure properties are prepared for move-in.
- Ensure a smooth handover of keys and that tenants are satisfied.
- Experience within a customer service/hospitality background with a stable CV.
- Sales/customer service experience.
- Previous experience of using Microsoft Office packages.
- Able to drive and have access to a vehicle.
