About the Role

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join a leading contractor in the water sector. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasts of project costs to completion/final value
  • Manage subcontractor accounts and monitor cash flow and valuation plans
  • Oversee subcontractor tender processes and provide accurate reports of costs and values on projects
Requirements
  • Experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor in the water sector
  • Strong knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 form of contracts
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Experience working on mechanical and/or electrical works in the water sector (desirable)
