Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Assistant to support a young adult with Bardet-Biedl Syndrome in a college setting and in their daily life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany the individual to college and provide support in a classroom setting
  • Reiterate information from lessons to enable the individual to complete tasks effectively
  • Assist with daily tasks and activities, including social events and outings
  • Support the individual in developing their independence, particularly in using public transport

Requirements:

  • Driver with own car and full clean UK driving licence
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities
