Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Utility Surveyor to join our team at ATS Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting surveys to identify and locate underground utilities, including gas, water, electricity, and telecommunications.

This is a nationwide role, with the opportunity to work on various projects across the UK. You will use a range of survey equipment and software to produce high-quality reports and drawings, and work closely with clients and other stakeholders to ensure project deadlines are met.

The salary for this position is approximately £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus company benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct utility surveys using GPR, EML, and GPS equipment to identify and locate underground utilities and services.
  • Interpret survey data to create accurate reports and drawings using AutoCAD or MicroStation software.
  • Work closely with clients and other stakeholders to ensure project deadlines are met and deliver high-quality results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Competent in using utility surveying techniques, equipment, and PAS 128 standards.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
