Strategic Finance Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Finance Expert to join our team at South East Water. This is a high-profile position that requires direct access to senior stakeholders both internally and externally.

The successful candidate will have effective organisational abilities, an acute attention to detail, and excellent analytical and financial modelling skills. You will need to manage various priorities in this fast-paced role and be comfortable taking ownership and initiative when working independently.

This hybrid role provides the opportunity to own and run our shareholder model, which is essential for our strategic decision making and valuation assessments. You will be responsible for producing financial modelling and analysis to inform financing decisions, supporting refinancing processes, and preparing presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

• Day-to-day ownership of the shareholder model
• Supporting financing and refinancing processes
• Producing financial modelling and analysis to inform financing decisions
• Preparing presentations for internal and external stakeholders

You will also be required to support commercial assessments, provide analysis for special projects, and respond to investor queries as needed.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• An accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CFA)
• Relevant experience in investor relations, financial analysis, or corporate finance
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities

As a Strategic Finance Expert at South East Water, you can expect:

• A competitive salary of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum
