p>Our client is a multi-disciplinary practice seeking a Structural Engineer to join their team based in Reigate. This exciting opportunity is for a Structural Engineer with experience in using CAD to work on a variety of projects, including reinstatement of properties following fires and floods. p>

The successful Structural Engineer will be responsible for conducting structural surveys, producing technical drawings, and collaborating with designers to ensure safe designs. p>

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Working predominantly on reinstatement projects
  2. Conducting structural surveys and producing technical drawings
  3. Collaborating with designers to ensure safe designs
  4. Using CAD for stimulation purposes
  5. Liaising with designers, including architects, to agree on safe designs
  6. Examining existing buildings and structures to test their fitness for purpose

Requirements:

  1. Degree within a Structural Engineering discipline
  2. Willingness to travel across the South of England and spend one night away every fortnight
  3. Previous experience in surveys is advantageous
  4. Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD
  5. Full UK driving license
  6. Excellent communication and people skills

Remuneration:

Salary £30k - £55k (DOE - potentially more for the right candidate)

25 days holiday allowance plus bank holidays
