About the Role

We are seeking a Laundry Assistant to join our team at Akari Care, a leading provider of award-winning care homes. As a Laundry Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laundry processes, providing exceptional care and attention to detail in every aspect of your work.

Working closely with our Housekeeper and domestic team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency in our laundry facilities. This will involve assessing the laundry needs of our residents, performing minor repairs to personal items, and ensuring that all equipment is clean and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the efficient operation of the laundry facilities, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Provide exceptional care and attention to detail in every aspect of your work, including laundry processing, minor repairs, and equipment maintenance.
  • Work collaboratively with the Housekeeper and domestic team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
  • Assess the laundry needs of our residents, providing individualized attention and care as required.
  • Ensure that all equipment is clean and well-maintained, and that the laundry facilities are permanently clean and tidy.
