We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Traveling Cook to join our team in the Ryedale and Whitby Area. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking wholesome meals for our schools, providing a positive experience for our pupils.

• Prepare and cook meals for our schools, adhering to high standards of quality and safety
• Work collaboratively with our team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Support with food preparation, cooking, and baking, as well as ordering and serving pupils
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to health and safety protocols
• Travel to various schools within the Ryedale and Whitby Area, with the possibility of some flexibility depending on daily requirements

• Experience in a similar role, preferably in a school or catering environment
• Excellent cooking and food preparation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of our schools and pupils

• Competitive hourly rate of £12.38-£13.02 per hour
