Machine Tools Maintenance Engineer

As a key member of the AWE plc team, you will be responsible for leading planned maintenance and breakdown tasks on Machine Tools at our sites. Your technical expertise will be utilized to apply a range of fault-finding skills to return Machine Tools to service. You will gather data and analysis results to improve Machine Tool performance using various techniques. In addition to these responsibilities, you will supervise and mentor Machine Tool practitioners during work activities, plan and deconflict your own work and others, and demonstrate professional behaviors and effectively communicate with customers, stakeholders, and team members. You will also be required to complete specific training to work in designated areas of site. To be considered for these roles, you must have an engineering apprenticeship with a minimum NVQ/Diploma Level 3 or time served industrial experience in a Machine Tools field. You must also be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act and be able to use Safe Systems of work in their daily work.
