Contract Manager

Transport for London (TfL) is a world-leading integrated transport authority. We are seeking a skilled Contract Manager to join our Procurement & Commercial Team. This role will involve managing high-value, complex supply contracts that contribute to TfL's £500m Central Line Improvement Project (CLIP).
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and manage contracts, including pricing and deliverables, to ensure value for money.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with commercial agreements and supplier performance.
- Analyse cost data and develop negotiation strategies to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Manage claims and disputes, ensuring effective communication with suppliers.
As a Contract Manager at TfL, you will work closely with stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, driving innovation, and ensuring compliance with TfL's policies and procedures.
Requirements- Strong understanding of contract law and procurement principles.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to analyse complex data and develop strategic solutions.
- Experience in managing high-value contracts, preferably in a public sector or utilities environment.
In return, we offer a competitive salary of circa £55,000, plus a generous benefits package, including a final salary pension scheme and free travel on the TfL network.
