Job Title: Pre-Commissioning Manager (Water Treatment)

Future Select Recruitment is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their Pre-Commissioning/Water Treatment department. The ideal candidate will have a background as a Pre-Commissioning Engineer and recent experience in a leadership role within the industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the Pre-Commissioning department, following up on new business enquires, and pricing/scoping new projects. They will also be involved in the bid and tender process, assisting Senior Management/Sales Team to create comprehensive and accurate bids.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, able to communicate efficiently with clients and colleagues via phone, email, and face-to-face. They will also be able to identify training requirements within the team and develop Engineers.

Liaising with third parties on site and suppliers to arrange chemicals/equipment is also a key aspect of the role. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the Pre-Commissioning department
  • Follow up on new business enquires and price/scoping new projects
  • Assist in the bid and tender process
  • Identify training requirements within the team and develop Engineers
  • Liaise with third parties on site and suppliers to arrange chemicals/equipment

Requirements:

  • Background as a Pre-Commissioning Engineer
  • Recent experience in a leadership role within the industry
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
