About the Role

Olive Branch Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech and Language Therapist to join our client's therapy team in a school for young people with mild to moderate autistic spectrum disorders, Aspergers Syndrome, and associated learning difficulties.

The successful candidate will work closely with other professionals to provide support to students, reporting to the Therapy Manager. This role offers flexibility, with both full-time and part-time hours available for the right person.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Undertake initial assessments of new and present students to establish their SaLT needs.
  2. Lead and facilitate group and/or individual sessions, ensuring activities and interventions meet the students' needs and are consistent with their EHCP provisions.
  3. Manage, monitor, and review an assigned caseload, ensuring delivery within agreed timescales and taking responsibility for EHCP provision for SaLT.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, case file notes, and computerised information, providing regular progress reports.
  5. Liaise with professional and teaching colleagues to support individual needs and assist with analysis and reporting of statistical data and information for research and audit purposes.
