About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at CrossReach. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the needs of older people, working within a multi-disciplinary team to manage care plans, assist with personal and intimate care, and ensure a high standard of living environment and personal belongings.

Your duties will include responding to emergencies, handling communications, and participating in meetings, all while adhering to CrossReach's policies and demonstrating Christian support through prayer and worship. Flexibility is required as the role involves working on a rota basis, including weekends and evenings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support service users' needs, manage care plans, and assist with personal and intimate care
  • Respond to emergencies, handle communications, and participate in meetings
  • Adhere to CrossReach's policies and demonstrate Christian support through prayer and worship

Requirements
  • SVQ 3 in Social Care or willingness to achieve this qualification
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and registration with SSSC
