We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Specialist to lead and develop practice in Communication, Interaction and ASC at Walsall Council. This exciting new opportunity will allow you to apply psychology in creative and innovative ways to support vulnerable children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with partner agencies (Health, CAMHS, SALT) to support pathways to identify and meet the needs of children with communication and interaction needs.
  • Support the EPS to meet needs through keeping abreast of research, developments and interventions in this area
  • Develop and provide ongoing training for frontline practitioners working with this client group
  • Supervise and Support TEPs and Assistants with their learning and development

The successful candidate will have a passion for working collaboratively with partner agencies to support vulnerable children and will be enthusiastic about applying psychology in creative and exciting ways.

The salary for this role is estimated to be between £56,540 and £63,836 per annum, depending on experience.
