Job Title: Clinical Lead for Community Mental Health

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership within teams and across the community service, ensuring high-quality patient care and effective teamwork.
  • Engage with service transformation initiatives, contributing expertise to consultant meetings and divisional discussions.
  • Collaborate closely with primary care teams, HBT, inpatients, liaison, EIS, and other CMHTs to deliver seamless care across transitions.
  • Offer consultation and liaison services to general practitioners and other referrers as required, providing expert advice on patient care.
  • Undertake Mental Health Act assessments alongside team colleagues, ensuring adherence to legal requirements.
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Medical Degree from a recognized institution.
  • Eligibility for Specialist Register and GMC Registration.
  • Desirable qualifications include MRCPsych or equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
Estimated Salary Range: £90,000 - £110,000 per annum.
