About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CAD Draughtsperson to join our Technical Development team at Epson Telford Limited.

As a CAD Draughtsperson, you will be responsible for detailing manufacturing drawings from manufacturing design, assisting in the creation of concepts for new processes and applications.

You will also be responsible for updating and maintaining existing drawings and drawing registers, as well as assisting engineering staff with the creation or modification of existing drawings.

Additionally, you will generate bills of materials and assist with purchasing and expediting.

Main Responsibilities

Designing purpose-built machinery and modifications to existing equipment:

  • Accurate mechanical assemblies
  • Structure and Guarding

Detailing of manufacturing drawings:

  • Tooling engineering drawings
  • Fabrication and sheet work drawings

Project management:

  • Bill of Materials
  • Assistance in compilation of Technical manuals
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Good communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office products
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks
  • Self-time management
  • Experience of Autodesk Inventor & Vault

Essential qualifications include:

  • HNC or NQV4 in mechanical discipline
  • GCSE math's and English

Experience required:

  • Autodesk Inventor and Vault use
  • Understanding of manufacturing process
