Anatomical Pathology Technologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trainee Anatomical Pathology Technologist. As a key member of our mortuary service, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide mortuary services, including release and receipt of deceased individuals and organizing viewings for relatives.
- Assist in technical procedures related to post-mortem examinations, covering adults, road traffic accident victims, suspicious deaths, high-risk, and forensic cases.
- Liaise with staff, Coroner's officers, funeral directors, families, and other stakeholders.
- Work towards gaining qualifications leading to the level 3 Diploma and then level 4 Diploma in Anatomical Pathology Technology awarded by the Royal Institute of Public Health.
The successful candidate will be required to work in the mortuary on a daily basis from Monday to Friday. On-call, overtime, and weekend work for special post-mortems may be required and are remunerated.
