Purchasing Administrator Role

A detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Administrator is required to join the procurement team of an internationally recognised leader in their field, based in Fleetwood. This role is integral to ensuring the efficient procurement of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Follow up on outstanding deliveries and expedite where necessary.
  • Participate in and manage Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes.
  • Identify and act upon cost reduction opportunities.
  • Support the development of preferred supplier lists.
  • Maintain accurate records relating to purchases and supplier information.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
  • Resolve issues related to orders and invoicing.
  • Support the purchasing team with administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • A proven background in purchasing administration.
  • Experience gained in a multinational, corporate environment.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, flexible between 08:00 and 17:00 (08:00 - 16:00 to 09:00 - 17:00). Hybrid opportunities up to 3 days/week home-based.

This is a temporary position with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.
