Job Title: Educational Professionals Wanted

At Empowering Learning, we are seeking a dedicated Science teacher to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional to make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

About the Role:

We are looking for a teacher who can plan, deliver, and assess outstanding teaching and learning using proven methods and approaches that enable SEMH young people to learn. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children with SEN or mainstream school experience, a commitment to ongoing professional development, and a degree in education.

The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging and motivating pupils, inspiring trust and confidence in pupils, colleagues, parents, and other professionals, and promoting the wider aspirations and values of the school.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including residential accommodation for students on-site and car parking for staff.

About the School:

Our school is a secondary school based in Sutton, providing residential accommodation for students on-site. We are located close to public transport links and incorporate sports into the curriculum to help with theory, behavior management, and understanding of environments.

Requirements:
  • Successful class teaching experience.
  • Experience of working with children with SEN or mainstream school experience.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Degree in education.
  • QTS or QTLS.
