Electrical Fitter Contract Specialist

Contract Electrical Fitter / Machine Wirer
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading engineering company based in the heart of the home counties. As a Contract Electrical Fitter / Machine Wirer, you will be responsible for building bespoke machines from the ground up, including machine wiring and control panel wiring.
The company is a market leader in the concept design and manufacture of fully automated high precision bespoke machines, working across a variety of industries, including the medical and scientific sectors. They have longstanding agreements with renowned manufacturers and a growing order book.
We are looking for multiple electrical fitters / control panel wirers to meet the requirements of their new and existing customers and projects. The ideal candidate will have a time-served electrical engineering background, experience of building and wiring machines or electrical systems, and the ability to read engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Building bespoke machines electrically from the ground up.
- Wiring up control panels from schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Machine wiring, including instrumentation, robotic systems, HMI s, camera systems, motors, and pumps.
- Working with the engineering team throughout the build and test phase.
Requirements
- Time-served electrical engineering background.
- Experience of building and wiring machines or electrical systems.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, including schematics and layout drawings.
- Ideal experience in panel building / wiring, but training will be provided.
