About the Role

As a Support Practitioner with The Richmond Fellowship Scotland, you will be working in our East Fife services, supporting individuals with a variety of needs, including physical and/or learning disabilities, ongoing mental health issues, alcohol or substance abuse, and autism.

Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals to engage with their communities by planning and attending outings to various clubs and leisure activities.
  • Administer and monitor medication.
  • Assist people to maintain their wellbeing by promoting their personal care, including assistance with showering/bathing, dressing, arranging visits with professionals, and assisting with incontinence care.
  • Help people to maintain their tenancy by encouraging daily household tasks, such as general housework, laundry, ironing, cooking, and shopping.

Requirements

As a Full-time Support Practitioner, you could be expected to work weekends, shift patterns, and sleepovers when required. This role is full-time hours. All roles at present require you to hold a driving license.
