Production Director

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team at CHEP / Brambles. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of production, ensuring the highest levels of quality, efficiency, and safety.

• Implement Zero Harm and Safety Differently policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Achieve Production and Efficiency Targets by implementing effective production planning and control processes.
• Increase Process Reliability by identifying and addressing bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Engage Operations Teams in business values and objectives, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
• Design and Implement Change based on data and root cause analysis, using tools such as risk assessments, root cause analysis, 5S, and best-in-class benchmarking.
• Monitor and Report CI Metrics, including plant efficiency, OEE, near misses, and product flow compliance.
• Lead and Facilitate Improvement Activity using Kaizen and DMAIC approaches, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

• Six Sigma Green Belt Qualification or CI/Lean-based qualification.
• NEBOSH Qualified or IOSH accepted.
• Experience in Lean-Based/CI Operational Role would be an advantage.
• Experience in Team and Shift Leadership is essential.
• Highly Organized with a flexible, proactive, self-motivated, and persistent approach.
• Good Coaching Skills and proven skills and capabilities in communication and problem-solving.
• Experience in the Application of MS-Office and capabilities in leadership, project management, and change.
