We are seeking an experienced Engineer to join our team at MM Flowers, a thriving British flower market worth £1.2bn. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing areas.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and investigating opportunities for continuous improvement in equipment performance.
  • Undertaking a programme of Planned Preventative Maintenance and condition monitoring for key equipment & machinery.
  • Prioritising activities such as reactive maintenance, breaks etc. to provide a fast response to breakdowns within the manufacturing areas.

In addition, you will be required to:

  • Support and encourage a programme of TPM and assist with the training of colleagues in relevant activities.
  • Support with additional maintenance tasks across the UK sites as and when requested.
  • Support with general office maintenance requests.

You will also be expected to:

  • Conduct fault finding during production.
  • Perform planned and predictive maintenance.
  • Assess the need for spare parts.
  • Undertake effective planning and prioritisation of workload.
  • Ensure resources are used to optimum effect.
  • Operate in line with relevant legislation and Company policy.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and records.
  • Support other teams and functions as required.

Salary Estimate: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.
