About the Role

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of Year 5 students.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to create innovative curriculum materials and share best practices.
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting targets for improvement.
  • Maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behavior and positive relationships.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Year 5 students in a primary school setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners.

Estimated Salary: £42,000 - £62,000 per annum
