Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Coordinator to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks Regional Civils team in the Midlands/South region. This role is based on permanent, full-time employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will work closely with the Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team, reporting to the Project Manager to deliver programmes of works spanning Canal & River Trust and similar clients with river, canal, and reservoir assets.
  • As Senior site lead, they will be responsible for the performance of the site, including line management duties of Site Engineers and Foreman.
  • Implementation and monitoring of SHE policies and procedures, direct and supply chain workforce, along with site incident management/escalation.
  • Plan and measure day-to-day work activities for effective utilisation of direct and supply chain resources to meet short-term and contract programme milestones.
  • Draft the Construction Phase Plan, and other site documentation, for approval by the Project Manager, developing and maintaining quality standards set out in the Project Execution Plan and Inspection and Testing Plan (ITP).
Requirements
  • The ideal candidate will have industry experience working on capital projects such as dams, rivers, and canals.
  • They should hold a 5 Day - Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Certificate.
  • A full UK Driving Licence is also required.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint, and Microsoft Office, along with NEC4 contract, CEMAR, and Health & Safety legislation, including CDM regulations, is essential.
Compensation Package

We offer a highly competitive salary ranging from £65,000 to £80,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role within our organisation.
