Job Description

Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering main contract fire sprinkler projects on time, to budget, and in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Manage complex projects with budgets up to £5m, ensuring timely completion and adherence to customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Project Planning: Develop and maintain project programmes, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of project progress.
  • Cost Management: Identify and manage project costs, ensuring accurate forecasting and budgeting.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality standards, conducting regular site inspections and audits as required.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Documentation: Prepare and submit project documentation, including RAMs, Quality Plans, Project Plans, Cost Sheets, and Trackers.
  • Variations and Invoicing: Identify and invoice variations to contract, ensuring accurate and timely payment.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring compliance with EHS001 scheduled frequency.
  • Engineering Drawings: Maintain working knowledge of engineering drawings, ensuring accurate interpretation and application.
  • Prince 2 Methodologies: Familiarity with the principles of Prince 2 project management methodologies, ensuring effective project delivery.
