Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Geologist or Engineering Geologist to join our team at JP Engineering in Derby. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the supervision and management of site investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage site investigations to ensure compliance with British Standards.
  • Log soil and rock samples to current British Standards.
  • Conduct contaminated land assessments and geotechnical investigations.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement effective site investigation strategies.
  • Provide expert advice on geotechnical matters to support business growth.

Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification of a degree in one of the Earth Sciences.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant fieldwork experience (supervision and logging of site investigations in the UK).
  • Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills.
  • Full UK Driving License essential (Category B manual gears).
