Job Title: Youth Outreach Professional - Children's Social Work
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate graduate to join our team as a Youth Outreach Professional in Children's Social Work. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with complex mental health needs, helping them to develop positive relationships, and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) difficulties
- Assist in managing emotional well-being and creating a positive learning environment
- Help implement intervention strategies influenced by Psychological and Criminological theory
- Develop interpersonal skills to support students in making positive choices and keeping themselves safe
- Work closely with Mental Health professionals on site to ensure every child reaches their full potential
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in Psychology, Criminology, Social Work, or Education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathetic and resilient with a passion for working with young people
- Understanding of Psychological and Criminological theory
