About Us

We are part of Cardiff County Council's Children and Young People Department, working in collaboration with the Community Directorate to deliver effective family support services across the city.

Job Overview

This role will involve planning, delivering, monitoring, and evaluating comprehensive programs of support and intervention for families with children under 11 years old. The successful candidate will work closely with the Area Team Leader to create a welcoming environment that meets the diverse needs of adults and children.

Requirements
  • A Level qualification in Children's Care, Learning, Play, and Development is essential.
  • The post holder must have a non-judgmental approach, demonstrating empathy and understanding when working with service users experiencing challenge and trauma.
  • They should possess comprehensive knowledge of child development needs and be able to communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress.
  • A clean driving license and access to a vehicle are necessary due to the requirement for travel across all areas of the city.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is between £25,000 and £35,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
