We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Electronics Consultant to join our team at ECM Selection. As a consultant, you will be responsible for delivering expert advice on electronic systems development to our clients in the MedTech sector.

You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions for their electronic systems development requirements. Your expertise will cover a range of areas, including PCB design, firmware development, and low noise analogue circuit design.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, as you will be working with multidisciplinary teams and interacting with clients to deliver high-quality results.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics engineering, with experience working on complex projects in a regulated industry sector (such as MedTech). A proven track record of delivering successful projects, combined with excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach, is essential for this role.

Key Requirements:

  • 1st / 2.1 degree in Electronics or similar and significant industry experience as an electronics engineer on various projects/products.
  • Experience with PCB design, preferably using Altium Designer.
  • Experience with firmware, including writing embedded C/C++ for small product devices.
  • Understanding of low noise analogue circuit design and EMC for electrical safety.
  • Project experience working in a well-regulated industry sector (ideally MedTech, but also defence and aerospace sector experience would be considered).
  • FPGA development experience using Verilog would be highly desirable.
  • Prior engineering consultancy experience would be advantageous.

Salary: Estimated £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, dependent on experience. A comprehensive benefits package is also offered.
