Mainframe Developer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to join our team at Collabera Digital. As a Mainframe Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mainframe applications using COBOL, z/OS, and IMS technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mainframe applications using COBOL, z/OS, and IMS technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to enterprise testing standards.
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies, working closely with the wider GTST team.
  • Provide proactive support for improvement in GBS delivery quality.
  • Work as part of a small team of GBS End-to-End SMEs to provide a holistic approach to development and testing.
  • Identify synergies between projects in a Release and streamline testing to increase efficiency.
  • Review Delivery KPIs with recommendations and ownership of process improvements across teams.
  • Interface with Production Support teams to build joint improvement plans across CIO & CTO.
