Experienced Bookkeeper

Grafton Banks Limited is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. As a well-established and respected business, they require an individual with expertise in financial management to support their growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of VAT and CIS returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Liaising with clients to resolve queries regarding bookkeeping, VAT, or CIS, providing exceptional customer service.
- Day-to-day bookkeeping, including financial data entry, reconciliations, and account management.
- Management Accounts, including financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Budgeting and cash-flow management, ensuring the company's financial stability.
- Credit control, including debt collection and management.
The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified and possess demonstrable experience in a similar role. They will have excellent IT skills, including exposure to Xero, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
This role requires the successful candidate to be able to drive due to the remote location of the office and occasional travel to clients. The company offers a competitive salary of circa £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
