Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Service and Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out, servicing, repairing, and maintaining visits to various sites, ensuring equipment is functioning safely as per design and contractual conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out site visits to ensure equipment is functioning safely and meeting business and customer requirements.
  • Suggesting options for improving performance and energy saving methods at the conclusion of site visits.
  • Responding to unplanned breakdown calls on a rotational call-out basis.
  • Identifying and procuring spare parts to resolve breakdowns and prevent future issues.
  • Attending contract installation work and overseeing sub-contractors to ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements:

  • Highly skilled with a minimum of 5 years experience in refrigeration service and repair.
  • F-Gas refrigerant handling qualification and electrical qualification.
  • Conversant with current Health and Safety requirements and ability to work alone and unsupervised.
  • Full UK driving license and excellent communication skills.

Salary Range: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
