Idenfo Seeks Experienced KYC Compliance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and analytical individual to join our team as a KYC Compliance Specialist in London, England. This role requires expertise in AML/CFT regulations, risk management, and the ability to communicate effectively.

About the Role:

This is a contractual position that involves evaluating Know Your Customer (KYC) processes and frameworks, identifying gaps, and recommending enhancements to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • GAP Assessment & Analysis:
    • Review and analyze existing KYC policies, procedures, and practices to identify gaps against regulatory and industry standards.
    • Conduct detailed assessments of customer onboarding, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring processes.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure alignment of KYC processes with local and global AML/CFT regulations, including FATF recommendations and relevant local laws.
    • Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and assess their impact on KYC practices.
  • Reporting & Recommendations:
    • Prepare comprehensive gap assessment reports detailing findings, risk areas, and actionable recommendations for improvement.
    • Present assessment results to management and relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with compliance, operations, and technology teams to implement recommended changes.
    • Provide input to the design and enhancement of KYC tools and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Training & Awareness:
    • Support training initiatives by sharing insights on identified gaps and promoting awareness of KYC best practices.

This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in conducting KYC gap assessments and regulatory compliance reviews. £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
