About the Role:

As an experienced Oncology Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of chemotherapy and other cancer-related medications. Your key responsibilities include:

  1. Reviewing and dispensing chemotherapy prescriptions to guarantee accuracy, safety, and efficacy.
  2. Providing expert clinical guidance on the use of oncology medications to healthcare teams and patients.
  3. Conducting thorough medication reviews to ensure medication safety for cancer patients.
  4. Monitoring drug interactions and side effects, and offering recommendations for symptom management.
  5. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care and treatment plans.

We offer a competitive pay rate of £35 per hour, full-time hours from Monday to Friday, and an ASAP start available. You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive team environment, further developing your oncology pharmacy career.

The ideal candidate will be a registered pharmacist with the GPhC, possessing proven experience working in oncology pharmacy. You should have excellent knowledge of oncology medications, chemotherapy regimens, and related therapies. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting are also essential.
