Crime Threat Assessment Expert

In this crucial role, the Cybercrime Intelligence Specialist will form part of our multidisciplinary team tackling high-risk Child Sex Abuse (CSA) cases. The individual will leverage advanced research skills to uncover hidden online threats and develop actionable intelligence to inform investigative strategies.
The main responsibilities include:
- Identifying and attributing high-threat CSA offenders operating on the clear and dark web;
- Analysing communications data and cryptocurrency transactions to support attribution and ensure evidence-based decision-making;
- Conducting strategic research into emerging online threats to enhance the organisation's operational knowledge and resilience against rapidly changing cybercrime landscapes.
To excel in this demanding role, candidates should demonstrate expertise in:
- Deep understanding of UK legislation related to CSA;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in investigating complex online phenomena;
- A willingness to collaborate with various stakeholders and think creatively to combat increasingly sophisticated cybercrime tactics.
We anticipate the salary for this position to be approximately £55,000-£75,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
